Chassis

The Xray XT2 2024 introduces a revolutionary updated one-piece chassis design with integrated kick-up, eliminating the need for a lower brace and enhancing suspension geometry. This wider chassis accommodates the latest batteries and features a milled pocket under the servo area for improved flex and optional weight placement. The elevated side braces enhance flex characteristics and seamlessly integrate with the updated front upper deck, which incorporates a bridge design to connect with the updated steering system and reposition the shock tower forward. This innovative chassis structure optimizes weight balance, increases durability, and provides consistent performance across various traction conditions, making the XT2 an exceptionally adaptable and high-performing choice for competitive racing.

Drivetrain

The drivetrain of the XT2 2024 is engineered for maximum efficiency and durability, featuring unified 97mm driveshafts compatible with both ball and gear differentials, improved gear differential with steel satellite gears included with the, which is perfect for medium to high traction conditions such as carpet tracks, while the ball differential offers smoother action and higher traction feel which is ideal for dirt tracks and bumpy astro surfaces. The XT2 is available in two distinct kits: The XT2C with a gear differential for high bite and traction carpet tracks, providing increased on-power steering, and XT2D with a ball differential for dirt tracks, ensuring higher traction and performance!

All around high-speed top grade ball-bearings and a precision-molded spur gear are designed to contribute to the smoothness of the robust and reliable drivetrain! Additionally, the slipper clutch system has been optimized with extremely lightweight aluminum plates, providing precise slip adjustment and efficient power transfer with lower rotating mass weight! This attention to detail in the drivetrain design ensures that the XT2 delivers smooth, reliable performance and exceptional handling on any track!

Suspension

The XT2 2024 features a redesigned suspension system that significantly enhances handling and stability. The all-updated front assembly includes a bridge-style upper deck, updated steering system, and a shock tower positioned behind the shocks for better crash protection. The 13.2mm big bore shocks, equipped with X-ring seals and conical springs, offer superior bump absorption and landing control. The updated front roll center holder simplifies setup by featuring the most common inner camber link positions, while the rear uprights provide lower roll center positions to improve stability in high-speed corners. Medium composite steering blocks, C-hubs, and uprights offer additional durability, ensuring that the XT2 can withstand the rigors of competitive racing while delivering precise, responsive handling.
