Incorporating a resin pipe-frame body inspired by the innovative aluminum pipe frame of the 1/8 scale Land Jump engine-powered buggy, the Javelin features proven double wishbone suspension with a narrow backbone-style skid frame for ideal wide-angled steering geometry. Its superior sealed compartment 4WD chain-drive system ensures excellent performance and durability. This Vintage Series version faithfully represents the classic Javelin from 30 years ago, while being packed with modern racing performance potential and compatibility with contemporary power sources.

Style

The Javelin features a striking resin pipe-frame body that closely resembles the innovative aluminum pipe frame of the original 1/8 scale Land Jump buggy. Its design faithfully captures the iconic look of the classic Javelin from 30 years ago, preserving its nostalgic appeal. The detailed craftsmanship and authentic styling make it a standout, paying homage to its legendary predecessor while incorporating modern enhancements for contemporary performance.

Chassis

The Javelin features a simple yet highly rigid aluminum backbone-type chassis. This robust design provides exceptional structural integrity, ensuring durability and stability during high-speed runs and off-road adventures. The minimalist approach to the chassis design not only enhances its strength but also contributes to the overall lightweight and agile performance of the buggy.

Drivetrain

At the heart of the drive system is a counter gear equipped with slipper function and a final gear case made from metal to strengthen its load bearing capacity. The adoption of precision 48-pitch gear modules reduces power loss and the optimal combination of nylon and sintered alloy delivers both improved drive efficiency and reduced noise. In addition to chain drive, the drive system can also be changed to a belt system, which was optional in the original model. Also, the large diameter aluminum shocks, recreated in the original design, combine with long stroke suspension to deliver increased performance potential.
